This is a pretty cool capture, nevertheless... although I do feel it's a small shame the second finger is slightly out of focus.
Anyway, the colours contrast well and the depth of field is interesting, especially with the lower strings. The angle is a cool one and it's not badly framed, overall.
I guess the perspective is also intriguing, in terms of where your fingers are... could be at the bottom or top depending. O.o
I meant to get different looks - wider apertures give the bokeh look and closed apertures give a wider focal range - or at least thats my simplistic understanding of it - though all things should be understood in their simplest forms I think

Its my pinkie thats closest to the lens, on the 11th fret
Thanks
Oh right, I see! That explains it.
It'll always be slightly different, though, how we interpret the technicalities and stuff.
Nice photo - I just have returned to playing guitar after two years, realizing it's pointless to stop playing if I have started with it already...
Congratulation on holding the camera and guitar at once - I'm scared only by setting the self-timer on my camera and leaving it somewhere.
Beautiful!
What kind of guitar do you play ? Oh didn't use a self timer man - self-timers are no good
Thanks much
Um, what do you mean by "kind of guitar"? *confused*
Yup, I thought that you didn't use a self timer... just suddenly popped out of my mind how it can be "problematic" with them...
Oh I meant classical, rock, metal etc
